No. Dating is optional. ArcMates is for anime friendships, watch parties, conventions, local events, and dating if you choose it.

Yes. ArcMates is planned as 18+ at launch because dating features are included.
Will ArcMates be on iPhone and Android?
The first version is being built as a real mobile app for iOS and Android.
Can I use ArcMates just for friends?
Yes. You can choose Friends, Events Only, Watch Parties, or Con Crew.
Will there be a web app?
The mobile app comes first. A web app and event tools can come later.
How does the waitlist work?
We use waitlist data to plan nationwide beta access, local events, beta testers, and early community outreach.
Will safety tools be free?
Yes. Report, block, privacy, and safety features will never be paywalled.
Can I host a watch party?
