ArcMates supports local anime discovery without exposing a member's device location. Hosts may choose a venue or street address for an in-person Hangout, and the address is visible according to that Hangout's Public, Invite Only, or Private visibility setting.

ArcMates is for adults age 18 and older.

Report and block tools are part of the free product.

A member's device location and raw coordinates are never shown to other users.

An in-person Hangout shows the host-entered address to everyone allowed by its visibility setting.

Public meetup guidance is built into Event and Hangout flows.

Group events are encouraged before 1:1 meetups.

Moderation queues review reports, Events, Hangouts, and profile safety issues.

Privacy controls let users hide attendance and adjust discovery visibility.

Meetup guidance

Prefer a staffed public venue for a first meeting with people you do not already know.
List a home or other private address only with the owner or occupant's permission.
Use Invite Only or Private visibility when an address should not appear in public discovery.
Do not share sensitive personal information too early.
Use group Events, convention plans, and public or online Hangouts when you want lower-pressure plans.
Trust your instincts and use report/block tools when something feels wrong.
