These terms summarize the rules for using ArcMates, joining the waitlist, creating app content, and taking part in safer meetups.
Adults only
ArcMates is for people age 18 and older. Minors may not create accounts or use the service.
Availability
Features, timelines, local availability, and invite eligibility may change.
Acceptable use
Do not submit abusive, misleading, unlawful, spammy, or unsafe content.
Community rules
Waitlist and app participation must follow the Community Guidelines.
Arc Finder and Arc Sync
Arc Finder shows profiles from adults who separately opt in. Arc Sync is a pair-specific explanation of shared public fandom signals, not a public rating or a guarantee of identity, attraction, compatibility, safety, friendship, or romance. Do not scrape Arc Finder profiles, spam Connect requests, or manipulate scores.
Hero and Villain chemistry
Hero, Villain, Rival, and Nemesis labels are optional playful anime framing, not moral, personality, compatibility, moderation, or safety judgments.
Mutual choice
Sending or accepting a Connect request, choosing a plan, completing Episode Zero, or opening chat is not consent to dating, sexual contact, off-app contact, or meeting in person. Respect every boundary. Do not pressure another member, infer a private decline, friendship, dating, or end choice, or evade a report or block.
User content
Only upload photos and event images you own or have permission to use.
Fandom Rooms
Fandom Rooms are app-wide discussions for eligible adults. Do not scrape membership, spam or pressure members, or ignore a channel's spoiler label.
Safety tools
Report, block, privacy settings, support contact, and account deletion are available to users.
